Wordplay & Flow: The New Online Space For Wordsmiths

As the world slowly begins to recover from the Covid-19 pandemic and live events resume across the UK, we are pleased to introduce our new online space for wordsmiths in all forms. Wordplay & Flow has come a long way since launching last year across social media, and we can’t wait to show you all the things we have coming up for the rest of the 2021.

Our mission

Our mission is to create a secure space for poetry lovers post-covid and beyond. The poetry community is heavily dependent on live events, and once the pandemic hit, our safe spaces were wiped out. We have developed a platform that will support both poets and artists for the long-term. No more technical difficulties. No more disconnected performances. Our mission is to bring you a sustainable and adaptable space that will provide you with quality poetry performances, artist resources and more.

What’s coming next?

We have some special things lined up for the next few months. One being our new Flow Feature series that will explore the personalities behind the poets and artists that we should know about. We’ll be hosting our first poetry event at the end of June, and have some brilliant performances that you will not want to miss.

Wordplay & Flow wouldn’t be what it is today if it wasn’t for the exceptional poets that submitted their words of expression during the pandemic. Each month we will be selecting the best visual poetry submissions to feature on our website, and across our socials to continue spreading your words of worth as we recover from these difficult times.

Education and inspiration is key to our values. Our workshops will prioritise mental well being and development. We will be publishing weekly articles to help creatives develop their artistic practices, whether it’s related to poetry or another art. We’re taking one step at a time to do our part for the creative community, and through networking and collaboration, we will make it happen.
